Snapchat’s AR lens refreshes our first aid skills

I think with most of us the first aid course is already a little bit ago. This, of course, represents a great danger, because in an emergency we would not know how to react? And even if we remember, the panic could make us make fatal mistakes. Augmented reality could offer a solution here.

A look at the immersive application (Source: Snap Inc./IFRC).

Social media veteran and AR pioneer Snapchat has now presented an innovative augmented reality lens called CP(A)R, which can extremely help us save lives in the situation described. Fittingly for the world day “Restart a Heart Day” Snapchat presents their system, which they developed in cooperation with the Red Cross and the agency Gospooky.

The new Snapchat lens shows in emergency situations, step by step how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation. With the CP(A)R lens, fatal mistakes can be avoided and first aid knowledge can be refreshed.
