Alexander Pinker is an innovation profiler, futurist, new media specialist and start-up expert. Pinker was born in 1989 and has been working in cross-media communication and innovation and marketing consulting for several years. He founded the company “Medialist” in 2011 during his Bachelor of Arts studies in media management at the University of Applied Sciences Wuerzburg-Schweinfurt. He completed his academic education with a part-time Master of Science in Corporate Communications at the University of Economics and Management (FOM). Here he wrote his Master’s thesis on “Innovations in Retail”, in which he developed innovative customer journeys and customer segments on the basis of comprehensive trend and consumer research, exemplary for food and fashion retailing. He finished his studies as one of the best in his class.

Also in 2011, Alexander Pinker started working for GMM AG as project manager for multimedia and new technologies. In this field, he has focused on cross-media storytelling, strategic communication and innovative multimedia forms of communication.

Since 2015, Pinker has been a member of the board of the Startup-Network SUN e. V., which helps active and future founders, entrepreneurs, investors and mentors from different branches and in different phases of the foundation and supports them voluntary as a business enabler on their way through the corporate world. The association, which operates throughout Europe, currently has around 1,000 members.

Since 2017, Pinker has been a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Wuerzburg-Schweinfurt in the subject “Innovation and Trend Management”.
